The National Industrial Court on Friday fixed Monday September 19 to deliver ruling on the motion by the Federal Government seeking the court’s order to compel the striking academic staff back to work.

Fireworks between the counsel to the Federal government, Mr. J.U.K Igwe SAN, and counsel to ASUU, Mr. Femi Falana SAN, resumed before Justice Polycarp Hamman, who had earlier adjourned the matter from Monday to Friday last week. With relevant processes filed before the court by both parties, Justice Hamman promptly adjourned the matter for ruling on Monday 19 September, when the parties will know their fate regarding the matter.
